One-time passcode (OTP) Terms of Service

Agreement
By logging into the August Schools Portal via phone number, you agree to receive a one-time automated text message. This message will include:
a "one-time passcode" (OTP) that authorizes user access to the August Schools Portal
an embedded "magic link" that includes the OTP to grant access upon navigation
After confirming the OTP by either method, you will be redirected into the August Schools Portal.
Messages may be delivered from a pool of automated phone numbers local to the state where your school is located. This pool of numbers may change over time.
Terms of Service
You may opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. You can also email August Schools at [email protected], or call +1 (914) 881-9330. If you want to start again, submit an updated Consent for SMS Messaging form in the August Schools Portal.

United States Participating Carriers Include AT&T, T-Mobile®, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular®, MetroPCS®, InterOp, Cellcom, C Spire Wireless, Cricket, Virgin Mobile and others.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive one OTP message per login attempt, at most 15 per month. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your cell phone number, your carrier's name, and the date, time and content of your messages, as well as other information that you provide. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us.
By subscribing or otherwise using the service, you acknowledge and agree that we will have the right to change and/or terminate the service at any time, with or without cause and/or advance notice.
